Children’s Eye CenterTabitha Walker C.O. is an orthoptist, an eye care professional specializing in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of vision and eye disorders. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Brunswick, Canada in 1995. She completed a graduate diploma in Orthoptics and Ophthalmic Medical Technology in 1999 at the IWK Health Center in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
As an orthoptist, Ms. Walker works with pediatric ophthalmologist Dr. Facciani to evaluate and treat patients with disorders of the visual system, with an emphasis on binocular vision and eye movements. She enjoys watching children’s progression over time.
“Helping parents and their children achieve all that they can from a visual perspective is rewarding. Taking care of adults with double vision can also be a challenge which I appreciate. Outside of work, Ms. Walker enjoys spending time in the outdoors trail running, ice/rock climbing, and mountaineering. She enjoys cooking and reading when she is not in the mountains.
