Background

Dr. Bryan Strelow knew the title “Dr. Strelow” from a young age. Growing up with his father, Dr. Scott Strelow, an ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Bryan Strelow witnessed the transformative power of restoring sight. This exposure fueled his own passion, leading him to leave the Roanoke Valley for North Carolina to pursue his medical education and training. After subspecialty training in Columbus, Ohio, he, and his family, missing the Blue Ridge’s beauty, returned to Roanoke.

Dr. Strelow enjoys outdoor sports, exploring new activities with his children, and discovering new places with his wife. Beyond ophthalmology, he is a UNC Tar Heel, technology enthusiast, and soccer lover.
